Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern all photography and videography services booked through this website. By completing a purchase or booking through this site, you are entering into a binding service agreement with DDP Weddings Photo & Video on these terms — completing checkout is treated as your signature and acceptance, with the same legal effect as signing a printed agreement.

Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise stated on your invoice, payment is due in three installments:

• Booking Deposit (25%): due at the time of booking to secure your date. Your date is not reserved until this deposit is received.
• Second Payment (50%): due no later than seven (7) days before your event date.
• Final Payment (25%): due upon completion and delivery of your final photos and/or video.

Cancellations & Refunds

The booking deposit is always non-refundable once paid.

The second payment (the filming deposit) is non-refundable once your event is within seven (7) days out. Cancellations made 7 or more days before your event date may have this payment refunded; cancellations inside that 7-day window do not.

No refunds are issued once your service has been performed and your final photos and/or video have been delivered.

Rescheduling

If your event date needs to change, we will do our best to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. If we’re unable to accommodate the new date, any refund of amounts paid is at DDP Weddings Photo & Video’s discretion.

Post-Production and Delivery

Final edited wedding photos and/or films are typically delivered within eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks following the wedding date. Delivery of digital files will be made either by transfer to a client-supplied hard drive or by digital transfer through Dropbox, Google Drive, or a comparable file-transfer service. Delivery will be considered complete when DDP Weddings has transferred the contracted digital files to the Client’s supplied hard drive or has provided the Client with access to the files through the applicable digital transfer service.

If the final contracted deliverables are not delivered within twelve (12) weeks of the wedding date, the Client will receive a credit of $1.00 for each calendar day beyond the twelve-week delivery period, up to a maximum credit of $100.00.

The delivery timeline may be extended for delays caused by the Client, including but not limited to failure to provide requested information, materials, selections, approvals, or a functioning hard drive when physical transfer has been requested. Such delays will not count toward the twelve-week delivery period or late-delivery credit.

Rush Delivery

Expedited editing is available for an additional fee: 72-hour turnaround adds 25%, and same-day delivery adds 50%, on top of the standard package price.

Travel

Travel fees apply for locations more than 1.5 hours from Los Angeles (estimated without traffic).

Exclusivity

DDP Weddings Photo & Video is the exclusive photographer and/or videographer for the contracted event. No other professional photography or videography services may be engaged by the Client without prior consent.

Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide access to all areas of the event venue required for capturing photo and/or video coverage, including but not limited to the ceremony and reception areas.

Raw Footage & Unedited Files

Raw video footage and/or unedited RAW image files can be made available to the Client at an additional charge of $150. Requests must be made in writing. Raw files are kept on file for up to one (1) year after the event date, after which they will be permanently deleted unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Usage Rights

Clients receive a license for personal, non-commercial use of delivered photos and/or video. DDP Weddings Photo & Video retains ownership and copyright of all photos and footage captured, and may use the work for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes, including social media, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.

Limitation of Liability

DDP Weddings Photo & Video’s liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the amount paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including circumstances beyond our reasonable control (illness, accident, equipment failure, venue restrictions, or acts of God).

Miscellaneous

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties for services booked through this website and supersedes any prior discussions on the same booking. It may not be amended except in writing, signed (including electronically, as described above) by both parties.
